I had an incredible stay at this hotel. The attention to detail and the service provided by the hosts, Mauri and Maite, was exceptional. Mauri's local knowledge truly amazed me, as he guided us to hidden gems in the area that were not mentioned in guidebooks. The comfortable and spacious rooms, complete with a lovely terrace overlooking the mountains, made our stay even more enjoyable. The breakfast offered was plentiful and delicious, setting us up for a day of exploring the beautiful surroundings. This hotel exceeded all my expectations in terms of value for money and authenticity.

Over Easter, my partner and I stayed in a rural hotel nestled in the heart of the majestic forests of the Basque mountains. From our comfortable and tidy room, we enjoyed watching the morning mist give way to the greenery outside our windows. We were impressed by the level of care we received from the kind, knowledgeable hosts who went the extra mile to offer us plentiful breakfasts and homemade dinners. We particularly enjoyed the excursions they recommended that allowed us to appreciate the unique beauty of the natural surroundings. Added bonus: the hotel's free Wi-Fi connection made planning our activities a breeze.

We found the beds to be slightly too firm, but perhaps this is just a matter of preference. we would recommend using a GPS device to navigate the winding roads leading to the hotel, as getting lost proved to be frustrating at times.
